Cirque Musica Holiday Wonderland Fort Lauderdale Concert reviews
Tracey was not funny and the Wilbur stinks!
For Father's Day, I surprised my husband with tickets to Cirque Musica Holiday Wonderland. My husband and I enjoy watching SNL and 30 Rock, so we were looking forward to a fun night out (which doesn't happen often with 2 young kids). We started the night by having a few beers and apps at Rock Bottom, feeling excited and ready to laugh our asses off. However, when we arrived at the Wilbur, we were disappointed to find out that there was no alcohol being served. We reluctantly bought $4 bottled water and settled in for the show. The comedians at the beginning were pretty funny, but when Cirque Musica Holiday Wonderland took the stage, it fell flat. The entire show seemed to revolve around sex jokes, which quickly became repetitive and boring. The Wilbur was uncomfortably hot and we were not enjoying ourselves. By the time the show ended at midnight, it was too late to grab a drink and we had to head home. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and we won't be attending any shows at the Wilbur again. Although we still love watching Tracey on 30 Rock, we wouldn't see him do stand up again.
